Fast, Easy and Simple Thank You

Todays card is super FAST to put together, EASY to assemble and takes only a few SIMPLE items to make.

Items used:
Cardstock
Washi (or tissue) Tape
Thickers (or other Alpha stickers)

To start I found a piece of white cardstock in my scraps and SIMPLY added different stripes of washi tape directly to the piece of white cardstock. Then just tape your washi covered piece of cardstock to a card base and add thickers to spell out your sentiment.

For the inside just layer a few pieces of coordinating cardstock and stamp with final sentiment.

This card look great and takes less than 5 minutes to assemble!

Birthday Card Using Songbird Cartridge

I found this card on pintrest and fell in love with it. The images are all cut from the Songbird Cricut cartridge, and since I got that cartridge for Christmas (2013) I knew I had to recreate this adorable birthday card.

The flowerpot with the bird is found on page 73 of the handbook (under the perch creative feature) and was cut out at 2.5"
The flower was found on page 57 (using the shifted 'flower' feature key) and actually cut out with an asterisk in the center, I just added a decorative brad that I found in my stash and it easily covered the cutout and added a pretty center to the flower.
Using a oval punch by Marvy that I have in my supplies I stamped my birthday sentiment and added 3 homemade enamel dots to finish out the tag.
I used the EK Success Scalloped Scallop punch to add a decorative edge to on of the mats.

For the inside I just used to same paper that I used on the outside and again I punched one of them with the EK Success Scalloped Scallop punch.
I then stamped another birthday sentiment one the inside.

I just LOVE how this card turned out!!

Side Step Birthday

I found the idea for this card at:
I made a few miner changes in my recreation but the idea is the same. This card is the first side step card that I have made, and it turned out a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. The great thing about a side step card is that it give you different 'levels' that you can work on within the same card.

First spinner card

I spend a LOT of my free time on youtube watching card making and scrapbooking videos for both ideas and inspiration. That is where I first ran across the idea of the spinner card and I thought that they looked like a lot of fun so I just had to try it.
I decided for my first attempt I would recreate one that I had seen from someone else. So I went to youtube and found a cute card that I wanted to make. Since I made this card a while ago, I have forgotten where I found the initial video, so if any of you know who came up with this card originally please let me know so that I can give them full credit for it.

I left the inside of the card blank for now because I don't know who this card is going to go to. The background was made using stamps from Studio G and the fun zebra in the car was cut from the Cricut Paisley cartridges.

Mother's Day 2014 Cards

Since my last post shared the Mother's Day cards that I made last year, I felt it was only fitting to share the cards that I made this year as well.

The first card shown below is the one that I made for my mom this year. Pink and Green paired together are a great color combination and they help each other to pop. This card was simple to make but still has an elegant and classic feel.

Below is the card that I made for one of my Aunts, it is a card that could be made for multiple occasions. It is full of bright colors and the feeling of Spring.

Mother's Day 2013 Cards

I was going through my card box to take stock of my inventory and I discovered quite a few that I had yet to post pictures of. I know I promised pictures of my Christmas albums but I still need to pull the photos off of my phone, so in the mean time I will upload the cards that I have come across.

These first 3 where Mother's Day cards. The first two I gave away (one to my mom and the other to my aunt) and the third is still in my "inventory"

Another Encouraging Card

I mentioned (I think) in a previous post that I recently came across photos of cards and layouts that I had never posted, so for the next several weeks I will be trying to get all of them uploaded.

The card I am going to share with you today is a very simply card that fast and easy to make. All it takes is a little stamping and your done.
