Did I Buy This?

Yeah it’s finally Friday! I have been working hard on trying to clean up my craft room and I have discovered that for every other item I put away I find something new that needs to be dealt with or new storage problems arise. What a nightmare!! The supplies in my craft room must be related to bunny rabbits because they seem to multiply alarmingly whenever I'm not looking (it couldn't possibly be my fault). And, on top of that I have a rather large pile of new stuff that needs to be added in to the mix that I have bought over the last 6 months (and I have no idea where half of it is going to live).
  Here is the Adhesive:

The Embossing Folders:

Some new markers:

When I go to my grandpa's I like to hit up their JoAnn's because they have a much bigger store than we do at home. And, I sometimes treat myself with a magazine that has awesome freebies included:

These are all punches that I got at Tuesday Morning:

Stamps pile 1:

Stamps pile 2: (do you think I have enough)

And finally the dies:

Please don’t judge me! I know that I have a bit of a shopping problem, but in my defense it is 6 MONTHS worth of supplies that I got primarily on sale or on clearance. The sad thing is that I had forgotten that I had purchased half of it so it is like I get to rediscover it all over again.

By the way, in case you couldn't tell, I have failed DRASTICALLY in my New Year’s Resolution that I would only buy items that need replenishing (such as glue) until I made a large dent in the amount of stuff I have. Oh well, there is always next year (but let’s face it, chances are I will fail at this one every year! All I have to do is walk past a sign that says CLEARANCE and I am done for).

I Need A Maid

Hey guys, today I am taking a bit of a break to do something that I dread...CLEANING. I have a bad habit when I am crafting of pulling out a lot of supplies to use and then they don't quite make it back to their homes. They end up sitting around on my desk, side table or even the guest bed (since my craft room also doubles as the guest bedroom) until either company is coming and I am forced to make the room livable or things start to fall off because there is nowhere left to sit stuff. So my goal is to take the rest of this week and simply work on putting stuff away and making my craft room manageable again.

I thought that I would share some pictures of the clutter so that you can see the mess that I am dealing with. Let's call this the BEFORE pictures and by next Tuesday I will hopefully be able to present you with some great clean AFTERs.

Here is a photo of what my desk currently looks like:

This is the table that sits to the left of me when I craft:

And finally here is a pic of the guest bed that I share space with, as you can tell it is unmade (the sheets are there they just haven't actually made it back onto the bed since they were washed) and it is loaded down with finished projects, my Cricut machines and some camera equipment.

These picture only showcase a few of the areas of mess that I am currently working on, the other areas will be put off for a while longer because if I attempt to do it all now I will probably go INSANE.

Business Cards and Holder

I'm so happy! My brand new business cards arrived today from Vistaprint and they are gorgeous! I absolutely love how they turned out and they arrived faster than the estimated delivery so that makes it even sweeter.

So me being me, just minutes after opening the box and admiring my gorgeous cards, I bolted to my craft room to make a handy case to put them in so that they won't get damaged in my purse.

I used some heavy weight cardstock for the base of this adorable little flip book, so that it can hold up to the wear and tear from being batted around inside of a purse. Some beautiful pattered paper helps to customize the book. And, finally a spectacular image of a delicious looking cake finishes it off so that not only is the book functional but it is beautiful as well. Now every time I pull out one of my business cards to give to someone they can also see something that I have created.
